The problem

Ten years in, AMA had grown into a federation of more than 30 Muslim-led groups across Arizona. The site was built for the organization they used to be. It needed to carry a mission, a news hub sorted by category, an events calendar, a directory of member orgs, a membership application, and clear paths to give and sign up. One brand holding all of it.

What I did

  • Ran discovery with the board, then mapped the sitemap and information architecture for 30+ member orgs
  • Designed the brand refresh: logo, style guide, voice and tone
  • Wireframed and built every page in Figma: about and mission, news and blog by category, events calendar, member directory, membership application, donation and email signup paths
  • Built the design system components and specs, then handed off to my dev team for React and Tailwind CSS
  • Used Claude, Figma and ChatGPT for UI/UX and wireframing to cut production time
  • Ran QA on accessibility and responsive states before launch, and stayed on for post-launch support

The results

  • Recognized by the Muslim Affairs Council as a national model for organizational structure and impact
  • Praised as one of the most organized Muslim community organizations in the US
  • A 30+ member directory, live donation paths, and a full content system, all running on one brand

Why it worked

A federation of 30 organizations needed a site that could hold all of them without losing a clear, single identity. The brand had to scale the same way the organization did: fast, and without cracking under the weight of its own growth.

Outgrowing the site that got you started? This is exactly the kind of rebuild I take on.
