My role
Creative & Art Director, and one of a four-person core team, partnering with the founder and CEO. I owned the identity, donation website, campaign art, print, and the creative systems behind them.
The problem
A volunteer group was already feeding families in North Gaza, with no brand, no website, and no way for donors to see where their money went. Donors give to people they trust, and trust couldn't wait for a normal brand timeline.
What I did
Brand identity
- Built the logo, style guide, voice, and mission, clear in seconds.
Donation platform
- Wireframed and built the website, launched giving on WordPress, Shopify, and Fundraise Up, and ran usability tests in UserTesting before launch.
Campaigns and print
- Produced campaign art, social content, and print files.
Creative systems
- Set up creative and content workflows for a team across two countries.
- Set up AI workflows in Claude and Canva so a small team could keep pace and stay on brand.
- Built brand standards into those tools so anyone could deliver on-brand work alone.
- Handed off the whole system so the team could run it without me.
The results
- Helped raise $1.2M in year one, all organic.
- New branding on banners and vests within a week of approval.
- A four-person team running brand, web, campaigns, and print.
Social growth in one month
I led the post and reels strategy and designed the content.
- Followers up 44%, to 10K.
- Reel and post views up 37%, to 197K.
- 82% of views came from people who didn't follow yet.
Instagram insights, June 2025.
The bottom line: Trust was the most valuable asset. The brand is why a donor feels safe giving to people they'll never meet. Build the proof first, and the giving follows.
